10.06.09 - Myspace profile design contest
So we have decided to hold a contest for a myspace profile design. I don't have to time to work one up and I figured this would be a good way to connect with the fans a little more. The myspace url is at the bottom of this page.
Contest Rules:
- One Submission per person
- The design must fit with the theme at www.aeonianrock.com
- The winner must be willing to make some modifications to the design after they are selected.
- Entries to be submitted via our myspace profile. Do not put the code in your contact, we will give you a contact email to submit. If you have the capability to upload it then you can send us a link to preview it.

9.18.09 - Back in The Saddle Again
Yeah I know, I am horrible lol. We have had a lot going on in our personal lives for a while now so we are being reborn as something new. We all have growing familes so we have decided to limit our activities to spend more time with our familes. SO that means when we play you better come see us or you might go through withdrawl :).
We are working on our second album, no eta on that yet. We want to make sure it is the best we can possibly make it so we are going to spend some extra time on writing the songs properly and laying them down with love and care.
We have a show coming up this weekend, I will post the details later today.

9.18.09 - Audio Player Updated
So I updated the audio player to the newest version so it should be working now. Just make sure you update your flash player.
The player contains a rough mix of our new song So Cold, and you can listen to the entire Torch album as well.
There is a minor bog in IE where the play button does not work, so if you hit stop you will need to reload the audio player.

8.27.08 - Acoustic EP, New EP, New Album
Wow it's sure been a long time since I posted something, oops :). I've got a lot of exciting news to share so let's get to it.
The Acoustic EP is pretty much complete. We have a few tweaks and stuff and it will be ready to go. This will be available for free via download from or website.
We recently won a battle of the bands over at The Castle in Chester, NY. As part of the prize we get to record 3 songs. We are going to take the opportunity and release those 3 songs as another EP to download for free. These 3 songs will be re-recorded and be part of our new album. Two of these songs will be chosen and appear on the Cup-o-Joe Morning show on the sound of life radio, and we will also be live on air doing an interview. I will give more details when that comes. We had a great time and played with some amazing bands and are going to try and organize some shows with them in the future.
Did I say new album? Oh I guess I did. Well we are giong to hit the studio in the next month or so to start working on our second album. We have about 6 songs completed, another 6 that just need vocals, and another 6 or so in the works haha. Needless to say this is going to be a killer album, it's the first time we are getting to write together as a group and the songs are edgier, heavier, and just plain awesome. Ok so I am a bit biased since we are writing them, but needless to say we are much happier with the songwriting vs Torch (which by the way if you don't own a copy, please head over to the store and get one)

5.13.08 - Acoustic EP News

We haven't come up with a title yet. We will prob hold off on announcing that until we have artwork ready etc.
We will prob release the single "Funeral For a Friend" as a free download to entice you to buy the rest of the EP. We haven't decided on pricing but it will be pretty cheap.
No release date yet, but we are working on bass, vocals, and some overdubs in the coming weeks. Most of these songs may even wind up on our second album. We are very excited with the new material that is why we decided to release this EP so we could share some if it in it's early stages.

5.12.08 - More Web Updates
Hey so I finally did it. I finished the website for once lol. Well there is ONE thing left. The clothing store should be online shortly. I will make a post when that is ready. The lineup for the acoustic EP should be finalized tonight and I will post the details of it later.

5.08.08 - More Site Updates
Soooooo..... I started the database work. The shows are now automated so when we add a show it gets sorted to the front page and when it passes it moves to the past shows table.
If all goes well, the news postings should be working as well. This is a test for the module. I just need to fix the front page to read the two most recent headlines and only the first couple hundred characters, then set up a link to the rest of the post on the news page. Wish me luck lol.

5.06.08 - New Site Design and Logo and an Acoustic EP
Check it out man, we finally got a nice logo and a new website. I've been really inspired by God lately. This site and design came to me in one day. Hopefully the fire will continue to burn and I will have this finished up before the weekend is over. It's going well so far so I think it should be done shortly. My daughter has surgery on thursday so that will slow things down a bit. Please keep her in your prayers.
I also wanted to announce that we are currently writing our second album. In the meantime we wanted to do something to bridge the gap. So we are planning on releasing an Acoustic EP. Right now it's looking like it will be about 4 songs and have acoustic versions of some stuff off of Torch and some new stuff. I will post more details when I have them.
p.s. for any nerds out there. I'm going to setup a database so that we can enter shows in a form on the website as well as news and the journal. Then I will have it pulled from the database so that it can be display. This will make it much easier for any of us to add content to the site and should ensure it is updated more often; however, this isn't going to be done until everything else on the site is ready.
